AKAN OKON, IBOM PLAZA JURISTS AND FAKE PROFESSORS

By Eld. Emmanuel Udosen

Recall that shortly after the PDP primaries in Akwa Ibom State, one of the failed aspirants, Mr. Akan Okon, told his supporters that he has uncovered a certificate forgery case by the successful aspirant, and candidate of the PDP in the state. Before his think tank committee, if any, could settle down to verify the facts, he had instituted an action in court and launched a media attack on the person of Pst. Umo Eno.

So many unimaginable and unprintable invectives were poured on the character of the candidate in the social media while judgments were passed against him in the same media to the extent that some gullible and vulnerable members of the public concluded that the party had lost its chance of filing candidates in the election.

Investigation reveals that Mr. Akan Okon tends to pay more attention and reposes more confidence in this plaza jurists than he does to the pending case in the Federal High Court, Uyo. He is alleged to have voted good sums of money which he couldn’t spend to do a pre-primary consultations on the Uyo plaza jurists before realizing that the Evidence Act 2011 places a high burden of proof of his allegations on him; and that the defendants may only be called upon to make their defence after he has discharged that burden.

When it finally dawned on Akan Okon that he had set his hands to the ploughing, and a dangerous one for that, he got up and started engaging quacks to scavenge for tissues of evidence in support of his claims.

His first exploration led him to a bunch of fraudsters in Lagos, where he compromised some hungry Nigerians to clone a letterhead and do a letter purporting to be issued by one Mr. T. A. Ademola wherein a disclaimer over Umo Eno’s WAEC Certificates were made.
His media urchins in both the Mail Newspaper and Sahara Reporters Newspapers carried the vibes about how Pst. Umo Eno has already been disqualified and the PDP scouting for a replacement. But when the WAEC Headquarters rose to the challenge and denied having any staff by such name, Okon’s ploy fizzled out but not without casualties both at WAEC branch office and the Mail newspapers.

Next ploy was to engage a quack forensic expert in the person of one “Prof.” Jideoni Charles who in turn approached a popular and real forensic expert, Prof. Michael Nwokolo, (trust Nigeria Police) to underwrite his report by endorsing same without verifying the facts. Reports have it that the fake forensic expert has had previous dealings with the real expert wherein he touts for clients for the Retired Superintendent of Police. Further reports indicate that they first met themselves when the retired officer was still in service and was investigating a crime which involved the fake “Prof.” Charles, but which somehow, he maneuvered the process and got him out of the hook.

The acclaimed forensic report sponsored and sought to be relied upon by Akan Okon sparked media investigations which in turn opened a Can of Worms against the duo. Since then, both have avoided the camera and have also expressed unwillingness to face cross examination in court, much like the APC/Tinubu’s hired Bishops, (I guess you still remember).

In further demonstration of his desperation and ignoramus, Akan Okon is said to have hired another specialist; this time a signature/handwriting analyst named Mr. Reginald Udunze whom he says is able to analyze the signatures on Pst. Umo Eno’s certificates and “confirmed” them to be forged. His plans is to file in this witness as an expert opinion to counter any evidence from the WAEC Registrar to the effect that they issued the certificates.
Although this is left for the court to decide the weight to attach to the various evidences, I stand to wonder how any slight variation in signature can invalidate a document duly issued and confirmed by an authorized institution.

I have a signature (I guess you too) and I can jolly tell you that signing same signature ten times, it can never remain the same in virtually all ramifications without the slightest variations. Compare when someone has to sign hundreds and thousands of documents at different times, and a “signature/handwriting expert” claims he has spotted some differences. Not a big deal! I don’t need to be an expert to spot same, even in my signatures. What an evidence!

As if that wasn’t enough troubles for the Akan Okon, he now sought to amend his claim to enable him bring in new “facts” from his recent discoveries. Guess what the new discoveries are?

“That the authority of the University of Uyo has released documents showing that Pst. Umo Eno gave his date of birth as 24/4/1961 instead of 24/4/1964”. This is against an earlier Ibom Plaza jury’s verdict that Pst. Umo Eno did not attend any school or graduate from the University of Uyo at all. Pending completion of our findings, it is possible that some chaps have smuggled out documents and doctored same to suit Akan Okon’s purpose. The expectation and earnest prayer of the desperate claimant is that the University strike should continue up to 12/9/2022 when the case is adjourned so that he can ask for further adjournment on ground of his witness not being at work.

Meanwhile, plans are also rift to tender a medical report to excuse the quack Prof. Charles from attending court on health grounds.

Recall that the Obafemi Awolowo University had disowned Prof. Jideoni Charles as not being a product or a staff of the institution when he was involved in a case of Obtaining Money by False Pretence in 2019. The fake prof was paraded by the EFCC and is currently standing trial before Justice Nicholas Oweibo in the Federal High court of Lagos state. His claimed professorship is also under serious scrutiny as he has laid claim to many other specialties including being a Witch Doctor. Check out his Facebook profile for details of his claims:

“Doctrinal Head, The Universal Philosophers’ New-World, Author, ‘The Universal Natural Laws’, and Originator & CEO, JC WEALTHY GENERATION CONCEPTS, Consultant Numerologist, Graphoanalyst and Palm Reader expert, Originator, Onigraffiks writting (sic) system”, etc.

It is reasonably suspected that a number of the Ibom Plaza Jurists also possess equivalent qualifications; now is the time to identify their syndicates in the ranks of the University of Uyo staff.

N204million Fraud: YPP SENATOR ALBERT, ADMITS RECEIVING CAR BRIBES…OMOKORE IS MY FRIEND, BUT I DIDN’T KNOW HIS COMPANIES GOT AKSG CONTRACTS

A member of the Young Peoples Party, standing trial before Justice Agatha Okeke of the Federal High Court sitting in Uyo, Akwa Ibom State, Senator Bassey Albert has admitted that he received vehicles from a contractor, Olajide Omokore while he was a Commissioner in Akwa Ibom State.

Bassey is being prosecuted by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, for money laundering and being in possession of six vehicles worth N204 million, at the instance of Omokore, whose companies executed contracts for the Akwa Ibom State government during his tenure in the state executive council.

One of the charges against the Senator reads: “That you Albert Bassey (whilst being the Commissioner for Finance, Akwa Ibom State and Chairman of Akwa Ibom State Inter-Ministerial Direct Labour Coordinating Committee (IMDLCC) sometime in December, 2012 within the jurisdiction of this Honourable Court, indirectly took possession of a vehicle (Infinity QX 56 BP) valued at N45, 000, 000.00 at the instance of one Olajide Jones Omokore (whose companies had contracts with Akwa Ibom State Government at that material time), when you reasonably ought to have known that the said vehicle formed part of proceed of unlawful activity (to wit: corruption) and you thereby committed an offence contrary to Section 15 (2) (d) of the Money Laundering (Prohibition) Act, 2011 (as amended) and punishable under Section 15 (3) of the same Act”.

At the resumed trial of the matter on Thursday, July 14, 2022, Bassey, while being led in evidence by the lead defence counsel, Kanu Agabi, SAN, admitted receiving cars from Omokore.

According to him, he had been friends with Omokore for nine years before he joined politics but denied knowing Omokore’s companies.

He also denied being involved in the award of contracts to any of Omokore’s companies in November 2013 before he left office as the Commissioner for Finance in April 2014.

In a cross-examination by the EFCC’s counsel, E. E. Iheanacho, Bassey admitted that he was aware that contracts were awarded to companies while he was the Commissioner for Finance and the Chairman of the Inter-Ministerial Direct Labour Coordinating Committee-IMDLCC, but did not know if the said Committee he chaired received over N30billion as alleged.

The prosecutor further asked the Senator if he knew that the cars mentioned in the charge were luxury cars, Bassey affirmed that they were bullet-proof cars, but denied knowing if they were luxury cars.

Bassey was also asked if he would be surprised to know that the said Committee he chaired, made payments to Omokore’s companies during the period in question, and he responded that he would not be surprised.

Justice Okeke adjourned the matter to September 26, 2022 for adoption of written addresses.

The cars in contention include; Infinity QX 56 BP, valued at the sum of N45million; Toyota Land Cruiser V8 B, valued at the sum of N40million; Range Rover, valued at the sum of N40million; Toyota Hiace high-roof, valued at the sum of N27million, another Toyota Hiace high-roof valued at the sum of N16million and Toyota Hilux 4X4 valued at the sum of N36million.

Bassey resigned from the PDP the next day, July 15, following the failure of his cronies, Honourable Friday Iwok and 30 others, to secure victory and upturn the the PDP primaries and Wards Adhoc Delegates Congress held in Akwa Ibom State recently.

The federal high court in Abuja, presided over by Justice Obiora Egwuatu, dismissed the suit challenging the conduct of ward congresses held to elect Adhoc delegates of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, describing it as lacking in merit.

In the suit FHC/ABJ/CS/606/2022 brought by Friday Iwok and 30 others, the court also held that by SECTION 84(13) of the electoral act as amended, the Court has no power to stop or restrain the conduct of Primaries elections of political parties.

The Court held that the plaintiffs did not prove that the PDP disenfranchised any of its members and also did not have the locus standi to challenge a Congress they had failed to participate.

Lady assaults bestie for allegedly sleeping with her boyfriend in Akwa Ibom (Video)

student of University of Uyo (UNIUYO), Akwa Ibom State, Blessing Victor aka Barbie, would never have thought her alleged secret meetings with her friend’s boyfriend would come to light.

It was gathered that Blessing, on Thursday, July 7, was on her way to the salon when she was accosted by her friend, Teddy – a student of Heritage Poly, Akwa Ibom state – and her cohorts who accused her of sleeping with her boyfriend.

A source familiar with the incident reports, “This is definitely Karma for Blessing as she has hurt a lot of people. So, Teddy recently found out that her bestie travelled all the way to Aba, Abia State, to have coitus with her boyfriend, Kelvin Kingsley Chimemerem.

She waited for the perfect time to execute her revenge on Blessing. The latter, was on her way to the salon on Thursday when Teddy and co. accosted her and gave her the beating that would last her a lifetime.

Apparently, Blessing is infamous for going behind to sleep with other people ‘s boyfriends. This is shocking as she was always the go-to person for advice concerning relationships issues and she’d tell her friends to dump their boyfriends whenever they crave her indulgence. Teddy, had previously warned her when she was caught doing the same thing to a mutual friend, little did she know that she was the next victim.

We also discovered that Blessing leaked the nudes of a friend after she slept with the victim’s boyfriend. She was the one behind the leaked s*xtape that went viral in Uyo. I’m confident that the beating Blessing received would prevent her from doing such again.”

CERTIFICATE FORGERY SAGA: AKAN OKON MAY BE JAILED FOR LIBEL…HOW GHANA TRIP ENDED IN FIASCO…FALSE PROPHET DRIVING AKAN TO SELF DESTRUCTION- NTUKUDEH

A defeated Governorship aspirant, Mr. Akan Okon may go to jail over criminal libel, if the PDP Governorship candidate in Akwa Ibom, Pastor Umo Eno, makes good his threats by suing him over defamation on his person.

Akan Okon, it was gathered, may have realized only too late that he has shot himself in the leg by instituting a suit against Umo Eno without first verifying if the man from Nsit Ubium actually had a WAEC Certificate or not.

Our source hinted that Akan is finding a way of withdrawing the case to avoid being ridiculed in the court of Public opinion.

Akan Okon, an aspirant who polled only three votes at the Governorship primaries, had gone to the headquarters of the West African Examinations Council, WAEC at Ghana to search for Umo Eno’s certificate, only to realize that he has made a fool of himself by alleging that he doesn’t have a certificate.

“Yes Akan Okon came to Ghana but we told him that only the owner of the certificate can apply for it as we don’t issue peoples private details to proxies”, a source told our reporter.

According to our source; “How can someone who after filing a case of forgery would now start trying to get evidence to support his claim, whereas what he would have done would have been to first gather his facts before going to dragging someone to court”.

Meanwhile, Akan Okon’s decision to drag Pastor Umo Eno to court over an allegation of not having a WAEC Certificate has continued to draw wide condemnation from within and outside the state.

Last week Umo Eno was in Lagos to join other former students to celebrate with his former school, during the occasion of a funeral in honour of the founder of the college.

Those who spoke at the event, most of who are Pastors, including a serving principal of the college maintained that Pastor Eno has brought so much fame to their college and expressed the hope that God will make him the first old boy from the school to become a Governor of a state.

The get-together dinner organized by Pastor Umo, a former senior prefect of the school, came on the heels of a commendation service of the Late Chief (Dr.) Christian Francis Ikpoola Olaniyan,JP, founder and proprietor of the college, who passed on at the age of 92.

The Victory High School alumni of Class 81, took time to recount with nostalgia, their time in the school and the blessings of God in their lives, 41 years after.

There were more commendations on Pastor Eno by his ex classmates who narrated his sterling qualities that stood him out in their school days, urging him to continue victoriously in line with the name of the school.

A memento of excellence was presented by the Global President of the Victory High School Old Students Association, Engr. Sheyi Olorunyomi assisted by Otunba Gbenga Ojurongbe, national president, and Jolayemi Odedele Principal of the college, with the Alumni describing Pastor Eno as a worthy ambassador of their alma matter.

Dr. Uchena Johnson, another classmate of the Governorship hopeful, said he was astonished to see people spewing blackmails against Pastor Eno who had written exams with them in 1981.

“Enemies of Progress concocted a conspiracy theory, that the incoming Governor did not go to school and that our senior prefect and overall headboy of Victory High School class of 81 does not have a school certificate”, he fumed.

“Let me say it here that the incoming Governor did not only graduate in Victory High School, he was an excellent student in character and in academics”

“Today super Grace found him and we are all gathered to celebrate him. By May next year we will be celebrating the first Governor that Victory High School will be producing.”

Jolayemi Odedele, a serving principal of the school and classmate of Dr Iniobong Essien, Chairman of Ibom Airport Development Company, both of the 1977 set, commended Pastor Eno, saying that he has made the school proud.

Also reacting, a chieftain of the Peoples Democratic Party, Elder Emmanuel Udosen in his contribution, believes Akan Okon was not nominated a commissioner in the State Executive Council on the basis of being endowed with intelligence and leadership qualities, rather his emergence was merely a favour on him by his bigger friend and mentor Governor Udom Emmanuel.

He maintained that a more intelligent and experienced aspirant or politician would have verified his allegations of certificate forgery against the pastor before resorting to legal action.

Elder Udosen who is the steering committee chairman of Friends of Umo Eno League, FUEL, described Akan Okon’s action as character assassination. “The allegation is simply a character assassination.”

An Internationally celebrated Journalist, Mr. Anietie Usen on his part has described Akan Okon’s claim as laughable, wicked and an attempt at tarnishing Umo Eno’s image. Fielding questions on a live radio program, Mr. Usen, a former Editor-in-chief and General Manager of the Pioneer Newspaper, and a former Senior Editor with NewsWatch Magazine urged members of the public to discountenance the Akan Okon’s claim.

Also reacting, Imoh Obot who made a comment on the social media while reacting to Elder Udosen’s position on the matter, described Akan Okon’s action as “politics taken too far.”, While Asuquo Etukudo sees it as frivolous and baseless.

Further condemning the action of the Mbiatok Itam born ex banker, a chieftain of the PDP Dr Godwin Ntukudeh, said Akan Okon is driven to self destruction following fake prophecies that he relies on.

Dr. Ntukudeh lamented that fake prophecies are responsible for majority of desperate antics by politicians and warned Akwa Ibomites to be wary of the false fortune tellers who maneuver and cajole their followers into a wild goose chase and left them parting with their belongings.

Meanwhile, the case which is before the Federal High Court, Uyo, comes up on July 18, 2022.

Cry for help! I Am Worried Over Her High Sexual Drive

We got married two years ago. My challenge is that my partner has a higher sexual drive and love sex so much.

Ever since we do make love, she has never for once be the one to say she is satisfied and that I should stop despite that most time it takes me between 10 to 25 minutes atimes to cum. The highest I can recall that i stayed long was 32minutes before I cum, yet in all these it looks to her as if I have not started the work and she feel disappointed anytime I cum because from her body language;she demands more and can withstand even up to one and half hours to 2hours before she can be satisfied and I can’t go such.

I tried all I can but honestly I don’t feel like a man for not even for once tell me or appreciate me on bed by telling me ‘thank you, please cum na, your have stayed long,I am satisfied etc but will always rather willing to consume more and more despite that she needs sex most time and I responds to her demand. Even when I am tired and sweating profusely I keep on just to please her and I am getting fed up over this. I have never taken sex enhancement drug and will never take such.

I don’t want to complain to her about. her insatiable sexual drive and how stressful it is riding on me to avoid her hiding her sexual feelings to me or taken it as insult or hurt her feelings and at the same time the fear of her looking for satisfaction from elsewhere. Please advise on how to handle this challenge.

GOV EMMANUEL INAUGURATES DAKKADA LUXURY ESTATE BOARD, ASSURES MORE EXPANSION IN HOUSING, EDUCATION

Akwa Ibom State Governor, Mr. Udom Emmanuel, has inaugurated a five-man Dakkada Luxury Estate Board, with an assurance that the state government will not rest on its oars in expanding the housing and educational facilities to accommodate the influx into the state occasioned by alluring government policies.

Performing the inauguration today on the floor of the Executive Council Chambers, Government House, Uyo, Governor Emmanuel observed that the Ewet Housing and Shelter Afrique estates in Uyo are already overstretched hence the Dakkada Luxury Estate becomes a necessity as a next point of call for a serene topnotch housing area.

Constituted into the Board were, Paul Usoro SAN as Chairman, Dr. Emmanuel Ekuwem, Mr. Churchill Udo, Brig. Gen. Koko Essien (Rtd.) as members and Hillary Ekpo as Secretary.

According to the governor, the essence of the Dakkada Luxury Estate Board was to clarify its status as a Limited Liability Company that will not be running at government expense.

The governor assured that with the assurance of steady power, a reliable reticulation system for portable water, LPG duct, broadband internet service in the very low density housing estate, the demand for the estate is already high, hence the guarantee that it will be self sustaining and generate enough revenue for expansion before the 600 units are exhausted.

Expatiating on the importance of such a facility in the state, Governor Emmanuel said shelter was very key in any developing economy, adding that the free and compulsory education policy in the state has caused influx of people into Akwa Ibom, thus overstretching public facilities and raising the need to expand educational and shelter in time to avoid the state being overrun.

He disclosed that also in the offing were plans to develop a medium density and high density estates that will accommodate people who cannot afford the multimillion low density luxury estate adding that the government has also secured financing to develop housing estates for Civil servants.

To accommodate the influx of families with children of school age, the governor said his administration was considering setting up another big school in the outskirt of Uyo to ease the already overstretched schools in the Uyo metropolis.

He said, “the way the city is expanding is alarming, but it’s a good problem. Nature has a way of creating these expansions so we have to deliberately expand to accommodate.

“So we are ready and I am sure within the next one year we should get set with high density and medium density housing estates.

“Even in terms of schools, all the schools in Uyo are overstretched. We are considering setting up a very big secondary school somewhere around Ikono Uyo”

The Board Chairman, Mr. Paul Usoro SAN, in his response, lauded the Governor’s ingenuity in providing a development compass for the state, well beyond the period of his regime and thanked him for an opportunity to share in his vision.

Usoro assured the governor and the people of the state that the Board will walk as a team to deliver on the vision behind the establishment of the Dakkada Luxury Estate, make effort to achieve the second phase of the project and beyond.
