TRENDING PROPOSAL: THE TRUE FACTS

Ladies and Gentlemen, My name is Peace and i am the lady in the trending engagement video that has re-posted by a lot of people who are ill-informed as to what actually transpired.

Naturally I’ll overlook it but seeing that it has created a wrong misinterpretation in the minds of the large audience, I am forced to set the records straight:

  1. The Guy in the video who proposed to me is NOT a student of Akwa Ibom State Polytechnic, Ikot Osurua but rather bases in Port Harcourt.
  2. Prior to that fateful engagement day, we had an unresolved outstanding issue which promoted him to travel (without my knowledge) from Port Harcourt to Ikot Ekpene to see me in other to resolve it.
  3. Upon his arrival, we talked at length physically of which I told him that everything is okay. He kept on pressuring till the morning of the next day of which I still told him we’re cool.
  4. While I was in school, I got a call from him telling me he was in my school and I wondered why because I felt he returned back to Port Harcourt ONLY to meet him at the video spot with an engagement ring.
  5. The reason why I delayed in accepting his proposal is because I was unsure and not because I was engaged to someone else as wrongly peddled.
  6. How can you say “Yes” to a guy who invades your privacy (social media accounts) at every instance even when he knows you’re faithful to him despite male pressure? How can you say “Yes” to a guy who assumes he’s right all the time? How can you say “Yes” to a guy who makes you feel so inferior of yourself? How can you say “Yes” to a guy who is so insecure and stops you from socializing? How can you say “Yes” to someone who visits at odd hours (10.00pm) from Port Harcourt just to catch me red handed and always disappointed? How can you say “Yes” to a guy that is hot tempered and argues a lot? How can you say “Yes” to a guy who doubts that you are in church and wants live video evidences (lack of trust)? How can you say “Yes” to a guy who is jealous to the extent that should i be on call even with my parents, he needs evidences? How can you say “Yes” to a guy who wants explanation for every single call you pick whenever you are with him?
  7. We just settled an issue and the 1st thing that comes into his mind is to propose to me??? Is that how things are done? Would you allow your sister, cousin or friend accept such a proposal?
  8. I tried to reason with him and beg him to stop embarrassing me and himself but he refused and turned the whole scenario to look as if am the bad one here. Several times I have told him I am not yet ready for marriage, so why the rush to engage me?
  9. Let me state it clearly here that I am NOT ENGAGED to ANYONE or even getting married in September as being peddled around. This fake news was spread by someone I know (name withheld) who wants the guy in the video to date her.
  10. Let me also add that in the presence of my parents, I had returned the ring back to him and the relationship ENDED.
  11. I am a strong believer of the saying that “God’s time is the best”. I am not in any competition with anyone and definitely what is mine will come at the right time.

The general public is adviced to take this is the true position of thing and respect my privacy as we are all entitled to one.

Allow me to breathe in peace! Don’t suffocate me!

𝐑𝐎𝐖𝐃𝐘 𝐒𝐄𝐒𝐒𝐈𝐎𝐍: 𝐀𝐊𝐏𝐀𝐁𝐈𝐎 𝐂𝐀𝐋𝐌𝐒 𝐓𝐇𝐄 𝐒𝐓𝐎𝐑𝐌:

STATE OF THE NATION

𝗚𝗼𝗱𝘀𝘄𝗶𝗹𝗹 𝗔𝗸𝗽𝗮𝗯𝗶𝗼, occupies a very sensitive office; President Of The Senate. The duties of the Senate President is very tasking. You are like the engine room of a nation. Interestingly, the skills deployed by Senator Akpabio, to manage the affairs of the legislature has been legendary.

Recall, the legislature in the past, were either accused of unnecessary interference and undue activism or as a rubber stamp assembly but the 10th Assembly has made a difference. They have exercised hugely, a high level of independence.

This is possible owing to the vast knowledge of the current president of the senate, Godswill Akpabio. He understands the ethical values of the legislature, law and the current dynamics in Nigeria’s democracy. Since the assumption of office as Chairman of the National Assembly, Akpabio, has changed the narrative in a seemingly fashionable manner that has brought uncommon stability, decorum, unity, transparency, and the oneness of purpose at the conduct of the affairs of the Nigerian Senate.

This is plausible; especially the commitment witnessed so far, having gone an extra mile to cushion the effect of hardship experienced by the citizens.

To recap, the extension of plenary into their vacation period was extremely patriotic and more so the national intervention against the imploding strike that would have been embarked by the National Association Of Resident Doctors (NARD) was another cap to his feather. As a selfless leader, Senator Akpabio returned to the office while on vacation to engage with the National Association Of Resident Doctors (NARD) and intervened for the sake of national growth.

He calmed the frayed nerves and re-echoed the essence of renewed hope in the minds of our resident doctors and thereby brought succor to the health system.

The rising of the senate president to maintain order and loyalty to democracy at the hallowed chambers, became a turning point in the history of our democracy. The President Of The Senate, His Excellency Godswill Akpabio demonstrated the fact that the Nigerian lawmakers have great respect for the masses and the democracy so practiced.

During the heated debate (session) where one of the ministerial nominees, 𝗙𝗲𝘀𝘁𝘂𝘀 𝗞𝗲𝘆𝗮𝗺𝗼 𝗦𝗔𝗡 was drilled and opposed due to negligence (while serving as a Minister Of State for Labour and Productivity) during the ministerial screening; the president of the senate exercised an authority in respect to democracy that brought sustainable hope: his legislative action restored peace and order which encourages team spirit to get the economy running by having onboard credible hands screened for a critical national assignments.

When a nation has her executive cabinet to man the affairs of nationhood; the country is positioned to succeed.

However, the President Of The Senate, in his legislative wisdom led the 10th Assembly through the route of renewed hope to harmonize the vision of the federal government of Nigeria. He stated thus,

“𝑻𝒉𝒆 𝒑𝒓𝒆𝒔𝒊𝒅𝒆𝒏𝒕 𝒐𝒇 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝒔𝒆𝒏𝒂𝒕𝒆 𝒊𝒔 𝒐𝒏 𝒉𝒊𝒔 𝒇𝒆𝒆𝒕. 𝑹𝒆𝒇𝒆𝒓𝒔 𝒕𝒐 𝒐𝒓𝒅𝒆𝒓 62 𝒐𝒇 𝒐𝒖𝒓 𝒓𝒖𝒍𝒆𝒔. 𝑰’𝒍𝒍 𝒓𝒆𝒂𝒅 𝒇𝒐𝒓 𝒕𝒉𝒐𝒔𝒆 𝒘𝒉𝒐 𝒎𝒂𝒚 𝒏𝒐𝒕 𝒉𝒂𝒗𝒆 𝒈𝒐𝒏𝒆 𝒕𝒉𝒓𝒐𝒖𝒈𝒉.”

“𝑾𝒉𝒆𝒏𝒆𝒗𝒆𝒓 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝒑𝒓𝒆𝒔𝒊𝒅𝒆𝒏𝒕 𝒐𝒇 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝒔𝒆𝒏𝒂𝒕𝒆 𝒐𝒓 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝒄𝒉𝒂𝒊𝒓𝒎𝒂𝒏 𝒓𝒊𝒔𝒆𝒔 𝒅𝒖𝒓𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝒂 𝒅𝒆𝒃𝒂𝒕𝒆, 𝒂𝒏𝒚 𝒔𝒆𝒏𝒂𝒕𝒐𝒓 𝒕𝒉𝒆𝒏 𝒔𝒑𝒆𝒂𝒌𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝒐𝒓 𝒐𝒇𝒇𝒆𝒓𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝒕𝒐 𝒔𝒑𝒆𝒂𝒌 𝒔𝒉𝒂𝒍𝒍 𝒊𝒎𝒎𝒆𝒅𝒊𝒂𝒕𝒆𝒍𝒚 𝒔𝒊𝒕 𝒅𝒐𝒘𝒏. 𝑨𝒏𝒅 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝒔𝒆𝒏𝒂𝒕𝒆 𝒐𝒓 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝒄𝒐𝒎𝒎𝒊𝒕𝒕𝒆𝒆 𝒔𝒉𝒂𝒍𝒍 𝒃𝒆 𝒔𝒊𝒍𝒆𝒏𝒕 𝒔𝒐 𝒕𝒉𝒂𝒕 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝒑𝒓𝒆𝒔𝒊𝒅𝒆𝒏𝒕 𝒐𝒇 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝒔𝒆𝒏𝒂𝒕𝒆 𝒐𝒓 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝒄𝒉𝒂𝒊𝒓𝒎𝒂𝒏 𝒎𝒂𝒚 𝒃𝒆 𝒉𝒆𝒂𝒓𝒅 𝒘𝒊𝒕𝒉𝒐𝒖𝒕 𝒂𝒏𝒚 𝒊𝒏𝒕𝒆𝒓𝒓𝒖𝒑𝒕𝒊𝒐𝒏.”

Then he thundered in the midst of dearth silence, “𝑰 𝒂𝒎 𝒐𝒇 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝒗𝒊𝒆𝒘 𝒕𝒉𝒂𝒕 𝒘𝒆 𝒂𝒓𝒆 𝒏𝒐𝒕 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝒑𝒆𝒐𝒑𝒍𝒆 𝒕𝒉𝒂𝒕 𝒏𝒐𝒎𝒊𝒏𝒂𝒕𝒆𝒅 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝒏𝒐𝒎𝒊𝒏𝒆𝒆𝒔 𝒕𝒉𝒂𝒕 𝒘𝒆 𝒉𝒂𝒗𝒆 𝒃𝒆𝒆𝒏 𝒔𝒄𝒓𝒆𝒆𝒏𝒊𝒏𝒈. 𝑭𝒓𝒐𝒎 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝒑𝒓𝒆𝒔𝒊𝒅𝒆𝒏𝒕, 𝒂 𝒍𝒐𝒕 𝒐𝒇 𝒊𝒏𝒅𝒊𝒄𝒆𝒔 𝒎𝒖𝒔𝒕 𝒉𝒂𝒗𝒆 𝒃𝒆𝒆𝒏 𝒕𝒂𝒌𝒆𝒏 𝒊𝒏𝒕𝒐 𝒄𝒐𝒏𝒔𝒊𝒅𝒆𝒓𝒂𝒕𝒊𝒐𝒏. 𝑼𝒏𝒅𝒆𝒓 𝒂 𝒓𝒐𝒘𝒅𝒚 𝒔𝒊𝒕𝒖𝒂𝒕𝒊𝒐𝒏, 𝒘𝒆 𝒄𝒂𝒏𝒏𝒐𝒕 𝒂𝒓𝒓𝒊𝒗𝒆 𝒂𝒕 𝒂𝒏𝒚𝒕𝒉𝒊𝒏𝒈. 𝑩𝒖𝒕 𝑰 𝒉𝒂𝒗𝒆 𝒏𝒐𝒕𝒊𝒄𝒆𝒅, 𝒕𝒉𝒂𝒕 𝒇𝒓𝒐𝒎 𝒆𝒗𝒆𝒏 𝒉𝒆𝒓𝒆, 𝒔𝒐𝒎𝒆 𝒐𝒇 𝒚𝒐𝒖 𝒂𝒓𝒆 𝒑𝒓𝒆𝒑𝒂𝒓𝒆𝒅 𝒕𝒐 𝒔𝒕𝒓𝒆𝒕𝒄𝒉 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝒓𝒖𝒍𝒆 𝒇𝒓𝒐𝒎 𝒆𝒗𝒆𝒏 𝒂𝒔𝒌𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝒇𝒐𝒓 𝒅𝒊𝒗𝒊𝒔𝒊𝒐𝒏 𝒃𝒖𝒕 𝒘𝒆 𝒘𝒊𝒍𝒍 𝒏𝒐𝒕 𝒈𝒐 𝒕𝒉𝒂𝒕 𝒓𝒐𝒖𝒕𝒆.”

“𝑳𝒆𝒂𝒅𝒆𝒓 𝒐𝒇 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝒔𝒆𝒏𝒂𝒕𝒆, 𝒍𝒆𝒂𝒅 𝒖𝒔 𝒓𝒊𝒈𝒉𝒕.” Akpabio concluded.

Never in the history of the Nigerian senate have I witnessed such authority being exercised by a leader that has the interest of the nation at heart, to move forward. Politely, but with clarity of purpose, he addressed his equals to the consciousness of the Nigerian dream; oneness of purpose, vision and the urgent need to get Nigeria working for the masses by electing to screen worthy servant leaders to discharge their national assignments for the interest of all without undue activism.

Some may, see Akpabio as jovial but he his more purpose-driven, focused and result-oriented than the wishful thoughts of naysayers. This is the leadership we deserve in a great nation as ours. He, has come to inspire the society to greatness with pro human legislation and also responsive to the plight of fellow citizens.

Akpabio is indeed a man with the midas touch!🔥💥✅💪🏾🤝🇳🇬

2023: AKAN UDOFIA, BASSEY ALBERT BICKER AS PRESSURE MOUNTS ON OBA STEP DOWN

There is palpable tension in the air in Akwa Ibom State, following the presidential election in which Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu of the APC was declared winner in a very controversial manner.

Our correspondent gathers that the Governorship candidate of Young Progressive Party, Senator Bassey Albert Akpan is under serious pressure to collapse his structures and turnover support to the All Progressives Congress governorship Candidate for governor to avoid completely losing out in the battle for the hilltop mansion and his personal freedom.

An insider who pleaded annoynimity due to the utmost confidentiality of the plot noted that since APC has won the presidency, OBA is being persuaded to succumb to the plot to collapse his structures for APC in return for pardon for his recent conviction, for Akan Udofia, whose party is already with structures in the State.

The insider further opined that Senator Akpan’s lobby to toe the line of supporting the Guber project of Akan Udofia was not only for presidential pardon on his conviction status but also for a possible Ministerial appointment too.

However OBA’s resistance to the deal is hinged on the fact that he has more experience and more supporters and could prove a more formidable opposition to the intimidating forces of supporters loyal to the PDP candidate, Pastor Umo Eno.

Bassey Albert who only recently lost his seat in the Senate at the court due to his defection, is said to have argued that he has invested more in the election while Akan Udofia is only a first timer.

The source said the argument is that the last election showed that APC has more presence in the state compared to YPP and it should be OBA stepping down for Akan Udofia.

He further highlighted “OBA is in a bigger trouble than Akan. The possibility of Supreme Court declaring Akan as APC governorship candidate next week is there. But there is no possibility of OBA getting off the hook of conviction for bribery and fraud for which he had been earlier convicted by the federal high Court Uyo”.

The insider said to avoid the backlash that may accompany OBA’s sudden volte face in the Guber project, he is reluctant to accept a withdrawal from the race to avert his people getting offended with him, so that he can at least win the House of Assembly election for his State Constituency for YPP.

Meanwhile, there has been a lot of housekeeping in the APC governorship campaign circle, one of which is the planned arrangement of a lady who can stand in as Akan Udofia’s wife, so she can be presented to the public immediately supreme court decision goes in his favour.

2023 Guber Race : Court Judgements consolidating Umo Eno’s stronghold

By Emmanuel Ndon

Penultimate week, the legal tussle in the All Progressives Congress, Akwa Ibom State chapter over the governorship ticket climaxed following an appeal court ruling declaring Mr. Akan Udofia as the duly nominated governorship candidate of the party for the 2023 election in Akwa Ibom State.

Although it has been confirmed that Barr Ita Enang has taken his case to the supreme Court,a copy of the judgement was yet to be handy, a summary briefing has it that the appellate court dismissed the jurisdiction of the high court which had earlier nullified the APC gubernatorial primary in the state held on 26 May, 2022 and also disqualified Mr. Akan Udofia in a rerun primary.

One of the contenders for the gubernatorial ticket and former Special Assistant to the President, Senator Ita Enang (and Mr. Augustine Utuk) had dragged the party and Akan Udofia to court challenging what they described as sham primary that threw up Akan Udofia as the winner.

Since news filtered out on the determination of the case, tongues have wagged over the merit or otherwise of the court’s decision. It became worse when, soon afterwards, the supreme court made a similar pronouncement on the same day, giving the Ikot Ekpene senatorial district ticket of the same party to Senator Godswill Akpabio against DIG Udom Ekpoudom.

Akpabio seems to have triumphed against all opponents, securing judgements for himself and his governorship candidate all on the same day.

As has always been my stance not to dwell on court judgements, I need not necessarily scrutinize the fairness or otherwise of the courts’ verdict. However, it is my considered opinion that this will have a terrible impact on APC in AKwa Ibom State regarding any chances of electoral triumph.

APC in the state has been in a sorry state for a long time. The confusion over its leadership structure saw the emergence of a factional chairman – and all the legal fireworks along with conflicting court pronouncements saw a front line member and gubernatorial aspirant, Udoedeghe defecting – all in an atrocious battle for the soul of the party.
This latest debacle will certainly nail the coffin.

The party has witnessed the worst fragmentation ever known by a serious political unit. As constituted presently, the APC in Akwa Ibom State cannot afford to secure any favourable result in any electoral contest. Not only because they are a disjointed group but because their ‘strong men’ have all been working for personal glory. They are always in a class struggle – each trying to dominate, control and overpower others – especially if anyone feels he is closer to “power” than others.

And just as DaShanne Stokes would say, the more they’re thrown into conflict with each other through engineered distrust, the less able they are to unite against any opposition.

It sums up many calculations that the ruling Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in the state stands to reap from the colossal division that has been the the lot of APC.

There’s no gainsaying the fact that the recent court judgements will deepen the split within the party. Evidently, as in the case of the senatorial ticket for Akwa Ibom North West for which Akpabio is the candidate, the people of Abak 5 has already taken their stand to support Abak federal constituency (Abak, Ika, Etim Ekpo) in the aftermath of the judgement. They hinge their position on the argument that Ikot Ekpene federal constituency (Ikot Ekpene, Obot Akara, Ikono, Ini) has dominated the position since 1960.

Not much any difference would apply to the (Akan Udofia’s) gubernatorial ticket. Those who feel aggrieved either by reason of injustice or equity are most likely to withdraw their support for the party’s candidate. Expectedly, fragments will disperse to support other parties. This includes supporters of the governorship aspirants who expectedly feel undone by the recent verdicts.

In the final analysis, we are to witness a favourable judgement amounting to a Pyrrhic victory. Based on the meaning and etymology of the word, beyond the immediate defeats, the party is liable to suffer a long term collateral damage.

As the ruling party, the PDP and Pastor Umo Eno stand out as the beneficiaries .

Umo Eno is a quintessence character, someone whose personality is built upon the foundational commitment of love, honesty and compassion.

Rare in our time, his unusual quality – humility, industry and perseverance are special traits that mark him out.

Forget the perpetual legal contest emanating after he overwhelmingly won the primaries are calculated conspiracies, but his triumph – even at the appeal court level, no
doubt demonstrates his staying power and strength of character.

But beyond the euphoria of advantage from opposition’s legal pronouncements, Umo Eno’s Arise Agenda (his 5-point economic blueprint)is well accepted by the people and provides the opportunity and vision for a vibrant, inclusive, diversified and highly industrialized economy with life-long opportunities that engender improved social welfare conditions and a more broadly-shared prosperity.

So, for the opposition APC, could this be a case of shooting oneself in the foot? Your guess is as good as mine.

GROUP GIVES TINUBU 7 DAYS TO RETRACT THREAT MESSAGE AGAINST GOV EMMANUEL…IBIBIO, EKID ETHNIC GROUPS KICK AS APC CANDIDATE KEEPS MUM

A group, Akwa Ibom Integrity Alliance, has given the Presidential candidate of the APC, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, a 7 day ultimatum to apologize and withdraw his threats l against Governor Udom Emmanuel and by extension, Akwa Ibom people, failing which it would be left with no other option than to institute legal actions against him.

Reacting to a comment by Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, where he launched attacks on the Governor, Chairman of the group, Barr. Steve Abia while addressing a press conference, Wednesday in Uyo, said the group had waited for over 24 hours for Tinubu to voluntarily retract his threats to the life of the Governor, but having failed to do so, the group had no option but come to the conclusion that the threats were real, premeditated and seriously conceived”.

The group expressed worry that instead of using political rallies as an opportunity to sell his manifestoes, the former Lagos State Governor, and Presidential candidate of the APC would rather resort to the use of threats, blackmail, scandalous, and libelous statements as his campaign tool, a trend it described as unacceptable.

Barr. Abia said his group considers as worrisome, the threat to the life of the Governor by Bola Tinubu.

“That we do not want to take this as a mission by the south-west to continually insult the collective sensibility of our people as was the case when a certain senior lawyer from that part of the country, recently had the effrontery to attempt to challenge the legal authority of the Akwa Ibom State Chief Judge over a no-case issue”.

“Subsequently, we are giving Bola Ahmed Tinubu and all his co-conspirators Seven (7)days to retract the threats and apologize to the Government and people of Akwa Ibom State, or risk immediate legal actions”.

Meanwhile, other groups, organizations, and individual including Mboho Mkparawa Ibibio, PDP Presidential Campaign Council, Akwa Ibom State chapter of PDP, Afigh iwaad Ekid, Eket Senatorial District Media Professionals, Uyo Senatorial District Media Practitioners’Forum, DG, Umo Eno Campaign Council, Chief Assam Assam, Spokesperson of the PDP Governorship campaign team, Prince Chris Abasi Eyo and a host of others have risen in condemnation of Tinubu’s verbal outburst on the Governor maintaining that he must tender unreserved apology to the Governor and people of Akwa Ibom State.

BASSEY ALBERT BAGS 42 YEARS JAIL TERM FOR CORRUPTION

The Federal High Court sitting in Uyo has sentenced Senator Bassey Albert to forty-two years in prison for money laundering and graft.

Senator Albert, the govenorship candidate of Young Progressives Party in the 2023 election, was found guilty today in all the six count charges preferred against him by Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC.

According to the anti-graft agency, Bassey Albert, had while serving as
Commissioner for Finance and Chairman, Inter Ministerial Direct Labour Coordinating Committee, received various exotic vehicles, including bullet proof cars, worth two hundred and four million naira from an oil magnate, Olajide Omokore, whose company did some contracts with the Akwa Ibom State Govemment knowing that the cars were proceeds of corruption

The Senator had argued that the cars were given to him for his political campaigns, but the EFCC disagreed, saying investigation showed that the
defendant received the cars as Commissioner for Finance in 2014.

In her judgment read for about four hours, the trial judge, Justice Agatha Okeke held that Bassey Albert did not refute the fact that he received the car gifts and since he left office, he never received cars again from the contractor.

In each of the count, Justice Okeke held that the YPP Govemorship candidate is to serve seven years imprisonment which she said, is to run concurrently with
effect from the date of the judgment.

She said the sentence is to serve as deterrent to other corrupt public officials following the high prevalence of corruption among Nigerian politicians and the effect on Nigerian economy.

The Court held that Senator Bassey Albert is to restitute two hundred and four million Naira to the
Federal Government through EFCC before he is released after serving his jail term.

PDP READY TO GET IT RIGHT IN 2023 – GOV EMMANUEL

The promptness of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, to set up its campaign structure is an indication of the party’s readiness to get it right in the upcoming general elections.

Governor of Akwa Ibom State and Chairman, PDP Presidential Elections Campaign Council, Mr. Udom Emmanuel, made the assertion while fielding questions with Government House Correspondents at the Victor Attah International Airport, Uyo, upon his return from Abuja where he attended the inauguration of the Campaign Council.

The inauguration exercise less than 24hours after Nigeria’s election umpire, the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, lifted the embargo on electioneering activities, makes the PDP first to unveil its machinery for full-fledged campaigns for the nation’s topmost post.

Governor Emmanuel, earlier in his acceptance speech after the inauguration as Chairman of the PDP Presidential Council, assured PDP faithful on the return of peace to the party and explained that the 600-man council was set to work across all units and ensure victory for the party.

At the airport, Mr Emmanuel insisted that, “that PDP remains Nigeria’s only party for everybody and is ready to get it right this time.

“This is the only party we have in Nigeria, forget associations, forget unions, forget alliances. Also, PDP is party for everybody but this time around they decided to look at people like us who still have the energy to run around and that means a whole lot. I think we are getting it right this time around,” he asserted.

The PDP Campaign Council Chairman explained that what is needed to execute the election is human resources which he reaffirmed, the party has in abundance across every section of the country.

“We don’t need more than one resource which is human beings because we are everywhere all over the country. That’s all we need for elections, the people, and we have people everywhere and I think we will win”, Emmanuel asserted.

He expressed appreciation to the National Working Committee, Board of Trustees, the entire structure of PDP as well as the candidate and running mate of the party, for the confidence in him and others, urging the committee to deliver victory for the party.

He however, acknowledged that the final victory is dependent on the will of God and the choice of the people, saying “our duty is to campaign to get Nigerians to vote but victory comes from God.

“You only campaign with your power of persuasion hoping that Nigerians will vote then God gives victory”, he added.
